Mathematics and Science Education Center

The Mathematics and Science Education Center (MSEC) is one of eleven centers in the North Carolina Mathematics and Science Education Network, headquartered in Chapel Hill. The primary purpose of the MSEC is to provide professional development opportunities in math and science for K-12 teachers.

Additionally, there are student programs such as Family Math/Science Nights, on-campus math and science programs for visiting students, and a Summer Ventures in Science and Mathematics program for rising high school juniors and seniors. An annual science seminar series featuring ASU faculty is designed to be of interest to everyone in the community.
